Tham dự hội thảo và tham gia trình bày báo cáo có lãnh đạo Cơ sở 2 – Trường Đại học Thủy Lợi, các nhà khoa học đến từ Hà Lan, Nhật Bản ( Đại học Ibaraki, Đại học Hokkaido, Công ty Maeda Kosen Co. Ltd,…) và các chuyên gia từ Đại học Quốc gia Tp Hồ Chí Minh, Đại học Cần Thơ, Văn phòng biến đổi khí hậu Tp. Cần Thơ, Viện khoa học Thủy lợi Miền Nam và Trường Đại học Thủy Lợi.

Chủ đề của hội thảo tập trung vào vấn đề thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu tại vùng Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long, một vùng có vai trò quan trọng bậc nhất trong phát triển kinh tế nước ta. Các báo cáo trong hội thảo tập trung vào 03 vấn đề chính là: Thực trạng về biến đổi khí hậu tại vùng ĐBSCL; Vấn đề quan trắc, khảo sát, và dự báo; Các hành động bao gồm nhận thức và thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu.

Hội thảo diễn ra thành công tốt đẹp.
